Why join us?

Are you active and want to contribute to the security and protection of your community?

Do you like to work with young people or do you want to try your hand at a specific firefighting sport?

The Saue Volunteer Fire Brigade gives you the chance to do it all! And if you can’t do it all, you can do half. Or just a little. All this in an association with a long history, where both old traditions and innovative approaches are honoured.

How to join us?

  • Liitu tegevliikmena Tegele ennetustööga või pane käed külge otsestel päästetöödel
  • Liitu toetajaliikmena Panusta kogukonda või ühingu arengusse
  • Liitu noorliikmena Tee tutvust päästevaldkonnaga, kui oled noorem kui 18-aastane

Our active member must be a volunteer rescuer within the meaning of the Rescue Act. This means that you must be at least 18 years old and have completed at least level I training as a volunteer rescuer to take part in prevention work and level II training as a volunteer rescuer to take part in direct rescue work.

Of course, we’re here to support you and help you from your very first thought about becoming a volunteer rescuer.

Training for volunteer rescuers is organised by the Rescue Board!

As a supporter, you can support us with advice or support in any activity that does not require direct involvement in prevention or rescue work, but gives you the opportunity to be part of an organisation working for community safety.

Contact us and we’ll find the best match for your skills and desire to contribute to community safety.

Young members have the opportunity to contribute to the security of the community according to their abilities, setting an example to their peers in terms of both knowledge and skills. Young people can also take part in firefighting sports or contribute to prevention activities with active members.

Contact us yourself or ask your parents for help, as a young member must have the permission of a parent (guardian) to join.

Historic merger

As an association with a historical background, we searched for an old statement from the 1930s in the archives and reprinted it. If you would like to join us, we will send you an application form that you will need to fill in manually. Also sign it manually and then hand it over to our board in person.

Yes, you read right – we only accept paper applications!

PS! To join as an active member, you will also need at least one of our referrers. Don’t worry if you don’t know any of us yet! Feel free to get in touch and we’ll get to know each other!
